DESCRIPTION:Join LGBTQ+ Rolla\, Spectrum\, and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) as they present Drag and Desserts! Saturday\, April 19th from 7pm-9pm – in the St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center on campus at Missouri S&T (located at 1346 N Bishop Ave\, Rolla\, MO 65409).\nPerformances by UltraViolet\, Sativa Raye Frost\, Andrew Genius\, Karma Valentino\, and Karma T Cassidy \nThis event is open to campus and community members and is all ages (parental discretion suggested). There is an entry fee – tickets may be purchased in advance at lgbtqrolla.org/events/ or at the door as availability allows. Tickets include light dessert refreshments as supplies last. \nParking available for in campus lots for free\, or for a fee in parking garage.

DESCRIPTION:Join LGBTQ+ Rolla for a free\, all ages Egg Hunt Sunday\, April 20th! Look for candy filled eggs among the beautiful spring greenery in Common Grounds Community Garden (111 S Pine Street\, Rolla MO)📍 \n🍬🥚🍬 This event will be from 2-3pm – with the egg hunt starting shortly after 2pm. We will have younger participates start off the hunt\, but all ages (including adults) are encouraged to look for eggs and enjoy the garden 🌱 \n🧺Feel free to bring a basket or bag to collect eggs\, as well as a chair or blanket for relaxing. You are also welcome to bring personal food/soft drinks\, or snacks to share 💧🥤 \n🏃There is no path/walkway – so please be prepared to walk on grass and slightly uneven terrain – but the area is mostly flat. \nPlease note – there is no bathroom access at the garden. \n🅿️ If possible\, please park on First Street and walk down to the garden – leaving room on Pine Street for people to drop off/turn around\, and parking for those with small children/accessibility needs. \nPlease share and invite others! Anyone who is affirming of the LGBTQ+ community is welcome to attend 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 \n***In case of inclement weather ⛈️- this event will be held indoors\, at CrossRoads (708 N Main Street)***

Enter a space where identity blurs\, binaries break\, and creativity takes form in folded pages and photocopied dreams.\nMissouri S&T’s Zine Lab invites you to its inaugural gathering\, designed in collaboration with LGBTQ+ Rolla and the St. Louis Independent Comics Expo (SLICE). Join artists\, storytellers\, and zinesters for an afternoon of radical self expression and collaborative creation.\nSnacks\, drinks\, and zine-making supplies will be provided; use ours or bring your own! No experience needed – come as you are.\nEvent features zine-making workshop with award winning artist Alain McAlister and creative consults with STEENZ\, professional cartoonist and President of SLICE.\nPlease share and invite others!
