DESCRIPTION:Join LGBTQ+ Rolla\, Spectrum\, and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) as they present a Halloween Drag Brunch! Sunday\, November 3rd from 11am-1pm – in the Atrium of the Innovation Lab on campus at Missouri S&T (located at 650 Tim Bradley Wy\, Rolla MO 65401) \nPerformances by UltraViolet\, Rocky B Goode\, Sativa Raye Frost\, Andrew Genius\, and Roxie M Valentine. \nTickets include hand pie and soft pretzel refreshments as supplies last. \nHalloween costumes encouraged! Please no costume masks\, and no imitation weapons. \nWe will also be hosting a non-perishable food drive for The Rolla Mission – consider bringing an item or two to donate to this wonderful community organization. \nThis event is open to campus and community members and is all ages (parental discretion suggested). There is an entry fee – tickets may be purchased in advance at lgbtqrolla.org or at the door as availability allows – seating is limited (advance ticket purchase guarantees seat availability – tickets at the door may be standing\, second floor\, or seated at a distance). \n***Please note that VIP is bleacher style seating with steps – general admission is flat/does not have stairs*** \nParking available for in campus lots for free\, or for a fee in parking garage.

SUMMARY:LGBTQ+ Rolla Youth Committee GAYlactic GAYla Teen Dance - PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
DESCRIPTION:Attention Teenagers: You are invited LGBTQ+ Rolla’s first TEEN DANCE!\nWho: Any Teenagers who are affirming of the LGBTQ+ CommunityWhere: The Centre\, 1200 Holloway St\, Rolla\, MOWhen: Saturday\, November 16th\, 6-9pm\nThis dance is for LGBTQ+ Teenagers\, their allies\, and plus ones. This means than ANY TEENAGER who is affirming of the LGBTQ+ community\, ages 13 to 19\, are invited. The dance will be chappelroaned by LGBTQ+ Rolla Board Members who are at least 4 years older than the eldest dance participant. The GAYlactic GAYla will take place upstairs at The Centre\, 1200 Holloway\, on Saturday\, November 16th from 6-9pm. Light refreshments will be provided. The teens are in charge of the playlist and expressive music connoting a queer ideology is welcomed. Parents and supporters are welcome to take pictures of the attendees as they arrive\, but we do ask that this event is honored as a safe space for teens to let their freak flag fly\, and no parents of teens in attendance will be at the dance. The dance is intended for teenagers who are able to be independent and make safe choices. That being said\, the chappelroans are not babysitters. They will be providing general supervision and be available for assistance throughout the event\, and in various locations in the building. Teens are expected to stay at the dance – but chappelroans will not restrict individuals who want to leave the event early.
